Best First Aid Kit I’ve Tried – Surviveware 1st Aid Kit

The Surviveware First Aid Kit is the best pre-made 1st aid kit I have seen. The pouch is very well made, the contents are very well organized and the attention to detail is excellent.

Be Prepared

Chad Smith says:

My ordered just arrived. Thanks for the video. I hope I never have to use it.

zeke1eod says:

Thanks for sharing, great video, God bless

Matthew Austin says:

I like that everything is placed in separate bags. I build my own first aid kits, but I’m definitely going to pull them back out and bag everything up. Can’t believe I’ve never thought of that!

Ed Cook says:

Cool, a nice looking little Ouchie Kit.
Yes certainly replace that Tourniquet, it’s less than useless.Get rid of the Space Blanket while you’re at it. Add to it a small Flashlight and some Coban. (Just remember that Coban tightens up as it warms up.) A small Knife wouldn’t hurt either.
I really like the fact they have everything in their own little Ziploc Baggies. That is called thinking it through.
The only other things I would add would be some Quick Clot and at least one larger Dressing. (ABD Pad, Trauma Pad or Israeli Bandage.)

Mulys Cousin says:

OPENING BAGGIES: Your fingernails are too short to do that. Here’s a link to their company direct.
I agree in general that , mostly, that is a good product for the money,

Matthew Austin says:

By the way, that watch is the shizzle :)

Tim McCabe says:

Best part of the kit is the high quality bag. Still, not bad for the price. You can always tweak it for your personal preferences.

nate Leppanen says:

I have the Myfaks premium first aid kit, very nice, great cost, suitable for life threatening or little cuts

usaflagwaver says:

Excellent all around first aid kit, great demonstration. Thank you.

Mike Hagarty says:

Nice looking kit, Brian! Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately it doesn’t ship to Canada!

Jeffery Sullivan says:

Another good video. Just be you! Thanks!

seanthomasdowd says:

LOL, my kit is a shemagh, super glue, gorilla tape, suturing needle and fishing line, maybe I need an upgrade, seems a very good kit much better than average

ƭɦε ɱσƭɦε૨ ɓσאא says:

Amazon?!? No THANKS! However…Nice kit..

ChainReaction! says:

I recognize the style, these really are the best kits. I grabbed the multi kit that has an even better traveler kit than this plus a even fuller kit. That way I have one for my primary setup and one for my redundancy setup (I keep everything doubled up. but in separate modular setups for sharing, scouting etc). Here it is for under $110 USD:

Bob Ashmore says:

The tourniquet they provide is most likely for non-arterial/venous wounds where a bandage won’t work but a full on blood stopping tourniquet would be too much, or for use for holding a dressing in place in an awkward place on a limb. Which would fit more closely to their stated “first aid” bag theme than a full on version. As you mention several times, this is a “first aid” kit and not a trauma kit. Good review, thanks.

Powerstroke Strong 903 says:

Excellent excellent video. I really liked how everything is in a baggie now i am going to put that into effect in my kits My wife thinks my kit is overboard with scutcher kits ,scalpel and sterile blades tegraderm covers And even smelling salts you never know what may be needed until medical personnel arrives.

hawg holsters says:

Just ordered one. Looks like a good bit of kit

motorcityman99 says:

flashlight is good even in daylight. I used mine when my brother cut his scalp open wakeboarding. Flashlight and super glue saved the day. atb

Martijn Lodewijk says:

It does look great, I would probably replace the tourniquet with a swat-t put some extra nytril gloves in the outside pocket, I already always carry a couple of flash lights so I will probably leave them out of this kit, great review, I will have to check out whether this is sold here in Europe

Michael Morris says:

Toss the tourniquet, put a decent flashlight in it’s place… then find a way to attach a tourniquet… not a bad kit actually.

shovelhead8 says:

Great first aid kit. Another thing on my wish list. I went with a headlamp for the hands-free option in my kit. Red Cross up here in Canada have started to teach tourniquet use again ,after many years of not recommending its use. Thank you for the review, Brian

The Lambinator says:

looks like a very well built kit for the value

Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond says:

I usually play your vids at .75 speed …… thank’s for slowing things down a tad.

Bill O'Brien says:

Great review, thank you.

Jim Zwerlein says:
