Bushnell H2O Waterproof Compact Binocular, 10 x 25 mm review
What’s up, guys? Bird from birdknowsbest.com doing a review one the Bushnell H2O Waterproof Compact Binoculars. These are 10 by 25, which means that a ten-time magnification and a 25-millimeter objective diameter. You’ve got a 15-foot close focus and a 12-milimeter eye relief. There’s a large center knob here for focus. As you can see right there, it’s got a little water. H2O only tells you 10 by 25. These rings pop out to make it easier on your eyes. And then, there is also an O-ring. It’s O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged so make sure no water gets into them. It does come with a strap, which I put on. The strap is kind of a pain to put on, but it’s worth it because it does hang very easily around your neck. When it does, there’s also this little case for it to fit in, which has a belt strap loop right here so you can put it on your belt. Bushnell H2O Waterproof Compact Binoculars 10 by 25 weigh just under 12 ounces when they are in the included carrying case.
Couple other things here, there’s a nice rubber grip on the side of this binocular so it does feel very sturdy in your hand. And they are…With that nitrogen and the O-ring, they’re designed to go overboard or to be used in very foul weather. We’ll test that out to see if that is actually the case. They run about between 50 and 75 dollars on Amazon. There’ll be a link in the description below if you guys are interested in trying them out. All right, guys, so I’ve had a couple of weeks to check these out. And I’m really happy with them, five-star review. They’re small compact. You’d be surprised how much you use binoculars if you have binoculars with you. At least, that’s what I found fishing or golfing or doing whatnot. The 10 by 25, I would say an object 10 to 12 feet in front of you will still be a clear focus. Anything closer and that’s going to be a little blurry. That rubber handle is really nice on the side that it really makes it feel secure. Very comfortable strap. No complaints.
So I’m going to show you the waterproof testability right now. All right, guys, I just want to show you now the Bushnell Waterproof Compact Binoculars. I just want to show you their waterproof ability. So I’ve got them around my neck here. And what I’m going to do is just take them off and drop them in the lake like so. Now, they do sink. This is obviously just the handle flick taken on the little deeper water. They’re definitely sinking. So now, what I’m going to do is grab them and see if I can look through them. Now, you’re going just have to trust me here because you’re obviously not going to be able to see. So if I look through them, everything seems to be fine. It’s weird, too, because the bottom of the lens kind of right here, it’s totally dry. I don’t even see water spots on it at all. So it definitely passes the test for waterproof so if it does fall on the water or if it’s raining, that’s one of the reasons I got them because they’re waterproof.
They are the Bushnell H2O Waterproof Compact Binoculars. They’re going to run $50 on Amazon. I put the link below. I highly suggest if you’re looking for just some everyday binoculars you want to be able to take with you in a boat and save some space or you want something light going 12 ounces or something light when you’re backpacking, I think these are the ones for you.
