You should be able to boil the tips making the plastic pliable and you can throw some black diamond tips on that you could screw on and off.
Love the channel man! Look forward to them, especially when your hiking or what you got in the pack.
I need some help. Im looking to get into backpacking and right now rei has deals on their backpacks. Im looking at 2 different backpacks and need some input. Im looking at the osprey 70 aether. One is the older version which is midnight blue and the other one is the current updated backpack. One is cheaper and outdated and the other one cost more (60ish) and is updated. Any input?
I actually picked up the cork versions, and have never really used trekking poles before so I don’t have a lot of comparisons, but I feel you on the grip, I wish it was a little thicker. I am also curious about your feelings on the flip locks, how do they compare to other brands? I don’t have a ton of confidence in them, but I’ve put my whole body weight on the pole and they haven’t failed during my living room tests. Thanks for the review- love your content!
Great review. I’m going to check their site out as soon as I leave this comment. Looks like a good set of poles for a beginner.
These trekking poles seem to be more or less a copy of the Leki Micro Vario Carbon Trekking Poles, just quite a bit cheaper. I have first seen the poles made by Leki back in 2014.
Another awesome review. Thank you so much for being unbiased!
