Coleman Weathermaster 6 Tent Review

Coleman Weathermaster 6 Tent Review
For more info….…
I am no tent expert…but I have used the Coleman Weathermaster tent enough times to give it a thorough review!

This is actually the first tent I have ever purchased.

Before I had a baby I would just sleep under the stars!

We borrowed my parents tent for our first camping trip with our baby and it doesn’t even compare to this one.

If you have kids, I highly recommend you investing in a family size tent. It makes all the difference in the world.

It takes 20 min or less to set up and it takes 2 people, unless you are really skilled.

My 3 favorite Features About the Coleman Weathermaster…

First off I love how big it is. This thing is like a studio apartment. There is so much room.

The fact that you can stand up in it was a selling point for me.

Crawling around on your hands and knees all while helping your children get settled is a nightmare.

There is plenty of room for our Queen size mattress, kids sleeping cot, and our dog kennel.

And we still have mass amounts of room to move around!

The tent sleeps up to 6 people and actually has 2 separate rooms inside in case you and your honey need some privacy…hehe

My 2nd favorite feature… is the easy access hinge door. This makes it so much more convenient than zipping the door open and closed every time you enter and exit the tent!

The door zips as well which you should do when you are sleeping. On our last camping trip in Colorado was had some little creature run into our door in the middle of the night.

It would have been in our tent if we didn’t zip it up.

My 3rd favorite feature… is the screened in porch.

This feature allowed us to cook our steaks while pouring rain!

We would have been eating cold PB & J if we did not have the screened porch area.

It also serves as a great canopy and that keeps you safe from the sun and bugs.

It makes a great yoga room as well!

They don’t call this the Weathermaster for No Reason…

We have tested the limit on this baby!

We were camping down in Moab this past spring and and if you know anything about Utah weather it can change in a blink of an eye.

And that’s exactly what it did.

Thanks goodness we put the rain fly on because we would have been soaked and miserable if we didn’t.
Coleman Weathermaster Review. We stayed dry under the screened porch but the only thing I would change…would be to have a built in waterproof flooring for the screened in area.

A good and cheap way to get around that would to lay a heavy duty tarp down on the ground before hand.

Would I endorse this tent??

Sweet looking tent!

Great tent! It’s one of my favorites!

Daaaym, bad ass video. Love everything about it. Including the tent.

Lauren Reed says:

Nicely done demo. The website gives all the details.

Sabiduría Virtuosa says:

Thanks so much for this video, been looking for a good tent for our family to go camping next month! Question: Does the zipper separating the room from the porch zips all the way to the bottom? No bugs will be crawling into the tent, right? How does it stand the rain? THANK YOU!

I love your tent, but what is the name of the song?

Excellent Business Reviews says:

This is a similar tent that I purchased a couple years ago at Costco. We loved ours. I do wish ours had the “screen porch”. That is a great added feature.

asimov72455 says:

Sorry I had to give you a thumbs down but your video didn’t tell me anything about the tent. I have a tent with windows and a door, too, but it leaks like a sieve in the rain. It’s a Nordic Cross, in case you want to know.

Chris Avalos says:

I have a question regarding the windows on this tent. I see that the flaps are on the inside of the tent and they role down. My question is if say it was raining and windy, would rain be a problem getting in from the windows? It seems like this tent has good rain protection from the top, but maybe a flap on the outside with the zipper on the inside would have been a better design wouldn’t it?

James G Rivera says:

Now that is the kind of tent I want!

Migue Pezo says:

Hi, greetings from Chile, I’m thinking to buy this tent but I have some problems, Can you tell me if the screened part is against water please? I saw a few drops in the vídeo. My question is because I need the tent to use it in the south of Chile (wanderfull landscape but lot of rain)…nice vídeo and thank you!

Jacky V. says:

So after this and a couple of other videos, I went and splurged on this tent. Set it up in the backyard to test. Wow my giant teenager can stand up in it. Love it and can’t wait to go camping with it next week. Thanks again!

Vassni Garcia says:

How was this in any way a review? Just tell me this, was it cold inside at night? I see that the ceiling is screened and not actually covered.

Jacky V. says:

Thanks for the video and the detailed description! Also, thanks so much for explaining the differences between the three Weathermaster tents! I’ve been so confused, going from one to the other. I’m debating between porch or no porch. We always put up tarps so we have placed to sit when it rains. But the screen is a nice touch for when you get sick of bugs. Just wondering how many feet, roughly, the inside part of the tent is. If it’s 17 feet in total, I’m guessing the inside is 11-12 feet long? Thanks again! This really helps!

Great Review!

Is  this where you can get it?  6 Tent Review    was in the description of your video…

I finally ordered one. Its my dream tent ha ha. I have been using a 4 person dome tent for years, and i am so excited about being able to stand up and get dressed lol. Awesome video by the way. It gave me that last little push I needed to finally buy one. Camping is such a great way to make memories.
