Coleman Weathermaster 6 Tent Review http://amzn.to/1T4lPMi
For more info….
I am no tent expert…but I have used the Coleman Weathermaster tent enough times to give it a thorough review!
This is actually the first tent I have ever purchased.
Before I had a baby I would just sleep under the stars!
We borrowed my parents tent for our first camping trip with our baby and it doesn’t even compare to this one.
If you have kids, I highly recommend you investing in a family size tent. It makes all the difference in the world.
It takes 20 min or less to set up and it takes 2 people, unless you are really skilled.
My 3 favorite Features About the Coleman Weathermaster…
First off I love how big it is. This thing is like a studio apartment. There is so much room.
The fact that you can stand up in it was a selling point for me.
Crawling around on your hands and knees all while helping your children get settled is a nightmare.
There is plenty of room for our Queen size mattress, kids sleeping cot, and our dog kennel.
And we still have mass amounts of room to move around!
The tent sleeps up to 6 people and actually has 2 separate rooms inside in case you and your honey need some privacy…hehe
My 2nd favorite feature… is the easy access hinge door. This makes it so much more convenient than zipping the door open and closed every time you enter and exit the tent!
The door zips as well which you should do when you are sleeping. On our last camping trip in Colorado was had some little creature run into our door in the middle of the night.
It would have been in our tent if we didn’t zip it up.
My 3rd favorite feature… is the screened in porch.
This feature allowed us to cook our steaks while pouring rain!
We would have been eating cold PB & J if we did not have the screened porch area.
It also serves as a great canopy and that keeps you safe from the sun and bugs.
It makes a great yoga room as well!
They don’t call this the Weathermaster for No Reason…
We have tested the limit on this baby!
We were camping down in Moab this past spring and and if you know anything about Utah weather it can change in a blink of an eye.
And that’s exactly what it did.
Thanks goodness we put the rain fly on because we would have been soaked and miserable if we didn’t.
Coleman Weathermaster Review. We stayed dry under the screened porch but the only thing I would change…would be to have a built in waterproof flooring for the screened in area.
A good and cheap way to get around that would to lay a heavy duty tarp down on the ground before hand.
Would I endorse this tent??
I stand behind this product 100%
