=thedenisdrake how many shoes do you need?!
Looks like your camping on Mars!
Thank you for the video. But may I ask what camera you used for the recording?
LOVE your reviews… except…. I’ll need to hide this one from the husband as he is somewhat of a kit-aholic especially torches, knives and watches. Haha
I really can recommend the smaller HA20… it´s got 300lumens, which is absolutely sufficient and with 2 red leds also a good red light, that´s useful for more than just map reading. The biggest plus is you can use rechargeable batteries or simple aa you find in every shop around the world.
very nice.
Nitecore has one that has a slider for variable brightness from 1 to 960 lumens.
WOW!! that moonlight is awesome… Great review.
Bought this light based on your review, I received it from Amazon.com last week and love it. The light output is beyond expectations, the built quality is stellar. My only gripe is having to fully remove the cap to access the USB charge port. Would not be too bad if it was tethered to the lamp. also came with a full set of replacement seals and O rings. Thank you very much for the review.
sorry but i wanted to see the light output and make my own opinion not yours
I have that and I love it, it was around $80 I think, worry ever penny
nite core is a great company no doubt but they are always a step behind a lesser known company called zebralight. very similar to this light in design although they have used this design for years but with higher output and a better interface IMHO.
I used to have a head lamp that had 5 settings and a diffuser cover lens. It had an external 4x AA battery pack. I used in on my hard hat with the light on the front and the battery pack on the back. I loved it. Setting 1 was just enough to see what I was doing. Setting 5 was like full sunlight. I put rechargeable batteries in it and had to recharge them every day, because I used the light 12 to 18 hours a day. Which involved taking the batteries out and putting them in a charger, sleep 5 or 6 hours, and put them back in again. It would have been nice to have one that just plugged in.
Do you have to monitor the recharge? Or will it stop when fully charged? That is a huge thing to me. I would like to set it and forget it till I need it, and have it fully charged when I grab it.
Too much brightness ruins everything.
All one must do is read a map, find your glasses, illuminate dinner and walk around camp.
The furthest one needs to illuminate is about 10m.
Why does anyone need to attract bugs and animals from miles away ?Maybe I am just a stick in the mud with too many questions ?
what about, if any, heat generated from it?
you should get into the amazon affiliate link game, likely to be a super low effort income stream for this kind of video.
When you need to run, it’s still ok? It doesn’t fall down to eyes or change from self the position of glow angle?
I could hardly concentrate on your review because of the BEAUTIFUL scenery. What an amazing place to be.
