Tim says:

No throw, I don’t believe it’s 3000 lumens, I just used mine for night fishing. Disappointed

KurokiKaze666 says:

WAAAY to many modes… one button operation takes forever to switch to where you want….

Pumpe-Düse says:

I was in the market for a new headlamp a few months ago and in the end, the ease of use, weight and other “non survivalist guys” parameters won it for the Fenix HL40R.
Its not that durable, integrated battery etc but I can charge it from a power bank I carry anyway, I can focus the beam and its really light – all you need for a few years of few day hikes, holidays abroad or car/home repairs.
Still it lacks the wow effect of those tiny power houses like TH30.

f22shift says:

I’m assuming that output is only held for a min without even finishing the vid lol

jacob manalang says:

this would be a MAJOR step up from my zebralight h52 headlamp!

when i carried the h52 solo i wanted a little more power. it works with 14500s but it only jumps to 500ish lumens but only for a min. impressive for the size though, and more than i need for headlamp use.

i do like right angled lights so i would love one that runs an 18650. this may be it

Thanks for review!
TH30 likely will replace my Nitecore HC30. While I like HC30 it has a stupid function: all the modes are memorised but with direct access to firefly and turbo. The problem is that even firefly and turbo are memorised despite they already have direct access. Totally superfluous and actually a drawback. The UI of Thrunite TH30 and the bigger sized Thrunite lights is much better with direct to firefly and turbo but these are not memorised.

complicated mfer says:

3350 lumens lol… that is just insane. Brightest light I own is still 1000 lumens but I’m looking to get the olight M2R Warrior or an Acebeam EC 35 because it’s 1200 lumens and built beautifully! M2R is 1500 lumens*

Jeff Porto says:

Awesome light, I’m ordering the cool white, but does it have memory? Thanks , enjoyed the video.

D. Knibb says:

Thank you for the review. Very thorough. One question, why would someone want to stand the light on its top? Tailstanding is the usual setting position. I have several headlamps (Nitecore, Armytek, Fenix and the TH20 Thrunite. i use for work.
