High Stream Gear Trekking Pole Review

High Stream Gear Trekking Pole Review-
These aluminum trekking poles worked very well for us and after trying them out on a very steep hike, my siblings and I gave them an extensive review.

Nice review. You plan on using the sticks regularly or sparingly? Besides the obvious reasons, they give your arms & certain upper body muscles a good workout on long day-hikes & backpacking trips.

Christine Machado says:

Good job on the thorough and honest review. As someone who sometimes hikes with poles, and sometimes doesn’t, I think the collapsible feature could be quite handy. Also, I think the rubber feet are designed for use with asphalt or concrete.

These poles seem good for people that don’t use trekking poles very often but may need them once in a while.

Jim Rodgers says:

Those look like great budget trekking poles, especially for someone who doesn’t use them all the time. I like the style that have cork grips up high with neoprene below (like the poles you reviewed). I use trekking poles most of the time, since I’m 53 yrs old, 6’5″ tall and I fall down a lot, LOL. The snow baskets that fit on the bottom of the poles are nice if you’re scrambling around in deep pumice (like in the central Oregon Cascades) – they keep the poles from plunging too deeply in the loose ash and rock. Nice review of the High Stream Gear poles.

PNW Adventures And gear reviews says:

love the small size interesting case never seen that before! Clip locks and cork handles are the way to go with poles also noticed it has an secondary grab point below handles which is a good feature my carbon fiber ones have that as well.

Hi honey your blob was so great I wish I knew half about wilderness from what I’ve seen of yours I’ve got some black and white issues I got to deal with now I got to go

Adventures In Filmmaking says:

I’ve never really thought much of hiking poles until I was backpacking and realized how much faster I hiked with them. Seriously made a big difference on my back as well. I’m curious when did you get turned on to hiking poles?
