does Deva 70L same as Baltoro 65? basically they are same bag right?
I hate the material most backpack manufacturers are using for the side stretch pockets. It feels like a really weak material and if you wanted to put something that may have pointy ends like a pole or a tripod I feel the material will break eventually. I think the Gregory Stout backpack has the better side mesh pocket material, feels really strong and sturdy.
Would you recommend it for trips that are about 2-3 weeks long?
Is the detachable rain cover for the whole bag or just the daybag/hydration sack? I forgot to check when I was in store
Such a boss pack!
Hi. Hipbelt size and harness size in this video also Medium?
how many cu inches is that 6500cu?
I had a smaller version of the Gregory bag, and I looked at this one today, but the shoulderstrap looks thin and doesnt look too comfortable. I also looked at the Ospey Aether 70, and that shoulder strap looked much thicker and softer.
Whats diff. Between the baltoro 65 and stout 65? Which is better?
Great vid guys! I am contemplating between this and the Aether 70. In this pack I have notice that the main and sleeping bag compartment divider just latches on to 4 corners in stead of being completely sealed by a zipper. Have you found this to be inconvenient? Is there a possibility that smaller things would slide down to the sleeping bag section trough the sides of the divider?
too expensive any bargain?
I own this pack and after a couple of outings with it I can say this things is a total workhorse of a pack! I had around 35-40lbs on my last trip and this things carried the weight so well I almost forgot how much weight I had on my back until it came time to take it off and put it on again.
Before I purchased this pack, I was dead set I was going to buy an osprey but after a couple of hours at REI going through a number of packs I came to this one and actually did not like the osprey fit at all! This pack is definitely worth the money.
I wonder what it weighs without the brain and hydration sack, cuz 5 pounds is way too heavy.
You guys are fantastic!!
Great review. After already purchasing this pack I learned a lot more about it. I’ll be visiting backcountryedge.com in the future!
