Great video & review. I look at gear and I have a grading system. I look at weight vs durability and comfort. The ultra-lite weight packs I have tried are not durable , in fact fragile , and they are not comfortable to me. At the end of the day I am truly ready to rip that thing off my back. The pack is an essential part of your hiking system and third behind your tent and sleep system . Maybe even equal to those two. I think there are ways to cut weight such as thoughtful planning with food and clothing. Which are very heavy. My pack is not negotiable. Great job Noel, looking forward to more great videos and your plans for the future. Best!

Serafin Hikes says:

I had a 65, I liked it but like you said it was too big for you and heavy … I had those concerns too and bought an arc haul

Thanks for the review!

Darren Garlough says:

do you think a guy could of made it with a 50 liter at ?

Joe Fisher says:

Nice video Noel, I use my osprey aether 60 most of the time on section hikes.Carried my ula circuit past 2 and and half days from Stratton to Caratunk. I realized how much I missed the wider more comfortable straps of my Osprey…i will learn to cut weight in other ways. Like you said view from West Bigelow was incredible, saw a moose up close bathing at Pierce pond.Keep the videos coming.

Victor Cocco says:

Great to see a t-shirt from The Maine Hiker . Thank you !

Keith Stewart says:

Thanks for the video, I am thinking about getting a 58 . I think it would be big enough. Plus they have come out with one this year a bit lighter I am 6 foot so 58 I think would be okay. 6 foot 3,,i didn’t think you were that tall.. what other backpack were you thinking about getting next time,,,,,thanks
