John James says:

i have the same bag and ya reet they are clagy lol
its a bit narrow for me as a bag but canny as a blanket

listaminex says:

Where have you been sticking your right arm?! All wet!!

Schpankme Verimuch says:

This bag is 100% stuffed Cotton with Cotton liner, the outside is water-proof.

Florida Girl Adventures says:

No way! I almost fell out of my chair when I started your video! – Go watch anyone of mine & you’ll see why :-) Great minds think alike – I own this sleeping bag and as someone who camps in the heat, – it’s thin light design has been very good! Tall men this bag is short!

The big man says:

Great video Richard
Sorry haven’t phoned you yet I’ve been busy with with the school holidays speak to you soon cheers Simon

Mint Outdoors says:

Looks Ok for the house, wouldn’t be trusting it on the hills lol. Sounds like it doesn’t breath very well may cause condensation due to the waterproof coating. I have to confess I prefer a down bag these days, much more comfortable and seem to be good a regulating the heat unlike a synth bag. Good review though and will be helpful ATB mate.

Nuclear Elevator says:

Rich’s Fishes and Pond Guru are the same person confirmed.

CyberCurtainTwitcher says:

Good review. I think i’ll stick with my 3 season though. I do keep a couple of the foil emergency blankets in the car & always have one in my rucksack too.

Norman scout 1 says:

amazes me how the kit you get now is so light and small ,when you think back in the day the kit we used to carry was that heavy ,when you done a day’s hike you were absolutely knackered

waikarimoana says:

That is a good one, thanks for that.

CHESHIRE METAL DETECTING says:

Hi Rich, We say clammy, but I know what you mean, I will not be going camping anymore, I would love to but my knees and back say no. me and the wife used to take a mattress off a sofa-bed and the quilt off the bed, no good for backpacking though…LOL but we where comfy and warm.
take care mate
Tom

Papa2k says:

I used something similar in Wales a few weeks ago. Used merino wool base layers and was easily warm enough. I also carry a few sleeping bag liners, one thermal and one silk. These are small, lightweight and easy to pack and make the bag more usable more of the time. Not a bad way to go if you’re looking for a lightweight, low volume, easy to pack sleep system.

Florida Girl Adventures says:

I live in FL and we have many warm nights, I Love this sleeping bag! Great price and light weight. perfect for my needs BUT I damn near froze to death up north – so I use it was a liner to a warmer sleeping bag.

mike j. v. says:

” clamy ” it wouldn’t do good here in wisc.

sdesic says:

Good review. I would buy. Small and compact bag.
Thanks for sharing.

English woodsman outdoorer and adventure says:

CHESHIRE METAL DETECTING says:

Hi Rich, Would you mind going to this link for metal detecting cornwall, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA2qbDc9Hac his name is Colin, and he is having a few problems with a chest mounted camera, I use a hand held one, so I cant give him any tips, on the video you cant hear him talking unless you turn the volume up high, but when he is digging it makes a hell of a noise, I know we try and help fellow detectorists out if we can, so hope you can give him a few tips, cheers
Tom

Brown Outdoors says:

Suprised how small it went on that stuff sack

The 4 king diggers says:

great video mate I didn’t know sleep bags had a season rateing I just got a season 1/2 for a rally stop over in late September in probably a dora the Explorer pop up tent not got anything sorted yet lol thanks for the info aways a great video mate
all the best Craig

Arahorn says:

Can I just ask, if this is a 9-degree celsius sleeping bag, what would the approximate degree-rating be if you used two of them on top of one another. Would that be ok for 0 -5 degrees celsius?

51foxy says:

Nice one mate. Bit too small and even on a warm night I was cold lol

SP guns says:

Good video again my friend..!! This is a very good sleeping bag..!!

Alan Evans says:

Breed ’em tough in the North East….not like us Southern softies eh? :-)

Gal Shiri Birnbaum says:

thanks for the review
i have a Mountain Hardwear sp for 6 degrees with EN
looking for cheap lightweight sp for the summer nights in the desert where it can get a little chilly

Dramatic Aquatics says:

cool review it has many functions!!  you could use it as a rugby ball !!

DirtyWaterJones says:

I love your outdoor vids ! It’s hard for me to relate the climate difference. But I enjoy the info none the less ! If you ever want to camp in an Alabama Swamp let me know !!  It would give you a whole new perspective ! LOL ! Take Care Brother, Be Safe and Good Luck !

Roy Carter says:

Not a bad price. Maybe you could use one or two lightweight blankets inside to make it more versatile. They don’t weigh much. You’re right about the south being much warmer. I’m from Yorkshire and live on the South Coast and it’s far too hot for me at times. I lived 20 miles north of Newcastle on a farm once and didn’t find it cold at all.

DebTim A CANADIAN Girl says:

I agree because it’s so small it would be handy but I agree even here in CANADA.. we go north camping and we’d need something just a little heavier! They are certainly cute and nicely packed

Scottish Wanderer says:

sleepingbag is very small and compact but dont think i woul get one my self it to cold up here even in summer atb stuart

Steve Nesbit says:

Always t-shirt weather in the North East.

ratrod diesels says:

we call claggy [ clammy] we also might opt for a wool blanket , however your bag is multifunctional and compacts .

Monkey Nut says:

Great review! Picnic blanket is a good use
