Osprey Aura AG 65 Backpack review

Osprey Aura AG 65 Backpack review
I took the Osprey Aura AG 65 liter backpack on my 17 day Pacific Crest Trail trip. I hadn’t worn it much before that, so I really got to test it out on the trip. It is an awesome backpack, and I recommend an Osprey pack for everyone, whether it be a backpacking trip or a day hike!!!

Marissa Meyers says:

Thanks for making this great video. I bought this pack on sale last year and will be using it for the first time this week. Your video helped me so much to visualize where I will put everything. Glad I bought it :)

Aerophoinix says:

I´ve been wondering, if you have a sleeping pad clipped in at the bottom, can you still pull the rain cover over the pack?

Arthur says:

I purchased the same pack from REI for $180.00 on sale but for a man the same day I found out I had to get a spinal surgery so I returned it I wish I would have kept it the fit was great now I have the Osprey exos 48 I love it but I wish I had the Osprey AG 50 the are great packs, Thumbs up!!!

-The Aura is a great pack. My wife has that exact pack. My only complaint is the weight.
-A lot of female hikers use the Gossamer Gorilla. Have you ever tried that pack yet? I’m thinking of Heather “Anish” Anderson. Here’s her gear list. http://runhikelivelove.blogspot.com/p/appalachian-trail-gear-list.html
-I don’t know if I shared “Carrot” Quinn’s gear list https://carrotquinn.com/2014/03/05/gear/

HI , I have an ATMOS 65 that is very similar except it is the one prior to the AG .That strap you called an ice pick holder is actually one of two tether points for your trekking poles there is a lower one that is near the rear and is covered with clear vinyl, the top adjustable tether has a small picture of two trekking poles , well should I say mine does but yours should be the same , GREAT REVIEW , THANKYOU !

Was the bag able to hold everything you need comfortably?

A Colo. Hi! says:

Great choice in a pack was there any other brand that was a strong contender?

Boodieman72 says:

How do you determine how big of a pack you need?

RudyVII7 says:

Do you bike on trails? I like this pack and was wondering if the size or weight distribution would not do you well for bicycling to your camp site. I know Osprey makes bike specific packs, but they don’t have room for all the camping gear (sleeping pad, sleeping bag, tent).

Thanks in advance!
