Doesn’t the Peak Design have a waist strap hidden in the slide external pocket? A thin on but technically it does have one.
Ummmm pretty sure you guys read my mind, I was just searching camera backpacks for hours last night…..
I still think for begin her’s are you really need is your iPhone and a GoPro…but good tips btw
Some great tips in here and a nice variety of bags!
Amazing video!I love you guys!
You can’t make a video like this without Think Tank and MindShift Gear bags. Just my opinion.
Don’t like the fstop Anja?
I recently picked up a bag very similar to the Vinta V2 (it’s a generic brand though). It’s a bit larger and has a great tripod holder. I discovered, if you don’t need the bag for gear, you can take out the inserts and use it as a standard carry on. It’s also really inexpensive. Not sure how long it’ll last though. Here’s the link below.

Hey guys! I have a recommendation.
The bag I’m recommending is the Kattee professional DSLR bag found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LC1GN7Y/ref=twister_B07C3L764D
It’s super cheap but it’s good for people who don’t do photography professionally but still want a camera backpack. Because it’s cheap, it has a few downsides like no hip straps, it’s pretty small, it’s not accessible from the back it’s not waterproof, etc. However, it fits a 15″ laptop, has a waterproof rain cover, tripod straps, etc. This would be more for reeeeally small trips but I thought it was worth mentioning. There’s also a similar one by Beaspire that’s also cheap which can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Waterproof-Multifunctional-Resistant-Accessories/dp/B01JOVOJM0/ref=sr_1_17?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1523728874&sr=1-17&keywords=camera+backpack I don’t have this bag so I can’t vouch for it though. Anyway, I love your videos and have been waiting for one like this! Happy travels!
I have the Peak Design 30L and it has a thin waist strap that you can shove in the side pockets. Also check out the Tenba BYOB camera inserts, they sell a packable messenger bag to go with the inserts.
Great video! Where are you guys heading off to next? I am trying to work out a Costa Rica Trip in September. They also have green sea turtles laying their eggs that time I beileve. Oh I think you guys should make your own branded Travel great called the vagabrothers. Built and made for travellers like yourselves.
Great video guys, who doesn’t love a good backpack?
I got myself a bobby backpack this year, its a nice light minimalist pack
As always great video and thanks for the tips 🙂
Always making great videos. well done guys keep it up 🙂
Great video! However, I would not describe the Sukha by F-Stop as carry-on compatible – it actually exceeds the dimensions for international carry-ons by a lot. In general I think the F-Stop backpacks look great, but one thing that has so far kept me from buying one is that none of them – and in particular the smaller ones which could be used as a daypack – have side-access (with the exception of the Dalston which is part of their Urban Collection). The backpack that I am currently using and have taken on numerous oversees trips is the Pacsafe Camsafe V17 Anti-Theft Backpack (https://www.pacsafe.com/camsafe-v17-anti-theft-camera-backpack/15221100.html). It has side-access, a removable camera unit, fits a 13-inch Macbook and has a ton of useful organization. The only thing it lacks – and why I have been looking for a different camera backpack – is a hip belt. But if you don’t have too much gear to carry, it’s definitely a great little backpack (it fits a DSLR with lens attached and one or two (smaller) lenses plus accessories). My new camera backpack will be “the explorer” by Compagnon (https://compagnon-bags.com/produkt/compagnon-explorer-arctic) – it’s a new product designed by Compagnon and manufactured by German outdoor gear company Deuter and I am really looking forward to receiving mine sometime in the near future.
You guys inspired me to learn spanish and eventually travel to spain! any suggestions, as I am only about a month into my lessons? Learned in high school, but can honestly say I do not remember much. Graduating college in May and planning on hammering some more spanish lessons this summer prior to traveling! Thank you guys, keep exploring!
Beautiful color grading! Next, how to shoot travel videos? And how to make them look pretty!
I’m not sure of it was stated but the peak design does a small waist strap that comes out of the side pockets
vagabond
Wow! @vagabrothers , thanks for this super informative and valuable presentation, will definitely be watching this again when I purchase my next travel camera bag.
What is the brand name of the map on your wall?
You guys should try the bags from shimoda design!
Thank you so much for this video! How did you know I needed this info? 😉
The peak design backpack does have a hip strap. It’s hidden in the water bottle pockets. Also on the bottom there are extra straps from external carry.
The timing for this video is perfect! I’m currently hunting around for a good camera bag that I can use on trips. Thanks for all of the great info y’all!
