Karrimor SF Sabre 45 Rucksack Review Full HD

Karrimor SF Sabre 45 Rucksack Review Full HD

Hello. I’m Paul and welcome to my channel.

In this view is review my rucksack the Karrimor SF Sabre 45 with additional side pouches. I’ve had the bag for around 6 months and it’s been on many trips for bushcraft, wild camping and day trip. It’s handled every occasion impeccably. The pack is 45l in capacity and the side pouches hold an additional 12.5l each. This pack is perfect in my opinion for wild camping, hiking, bushcraft or even a survial situation. The pack can be bought here

But if you shop around I’m sure you can find it cheaper. Please check out my other videos with the pack in action. My next video will show what I pack for a typical bushcraft over night camp.

Don’t forget to click the like button and subscribe to my channel and thank you for watching.

Cheers

Nice review Paul. I just got the Sabre SF Predator Patrol, a slight variant of the Sabre but very much a great pack. The Predator has molle on the rear and sides which is what appealed to me. I’ve also gone for slightly different side pouches, again based on my own specific needs. ATB, Nick

So it isn’t adjustable for different torso lengths? I’m 6’1″. That’s 5″ taller than you & will make a big difference in wether or not a pack is comfortable or a pain if it isn’t adjustable. Also you didn’t mention if it has a frame or not. Does it have an internal frame/support? Hydration pocket/compatibility? Thanks in advance for any info & response.

It does look like a well constructed bit of kit. I’m 5ft 8 too do should be a good fit. I’m looking forward to seeing your loadout. I always seem to take the kitchen sink with me in my PLCE. Cheers.

Great vid! 1 of the best of the Karrimor 45.. Do you find that the 45 is large enough for 3-5 days with the added Rocket pks?
I am struggling with what size to purchase…

Common Sense Camper says:

will an MSS sleep system fit inside that backpack?

Opal Preston Shirley says:

Great review. A couple of questions. How has the stitching held up and how comfortable is the waist belt on a hike? atb Opal

Al L says:

Hi Peter, I think the loops on the belt are meant to carry an axe or similar gear, not really for you to lift/hold the pack. I’m really liking this pack! I wonder how long it would take to get it from the UK to Canada?

Kevin Walker says:

nice review paul. I have a berghaus trailhead 65 which is just right for me on over night camps. but I do like this one for an extra pack think I might have a look at one of these. I also have a army bag where the pockets zip off but not quite as big as this one. atb kev

Common Sense Camper says:

Great review. Just subbed

Ching Wu says:

Hey Paul, great video! What’s the total weight of your backpack when you fully pack it for a bushcraft trip?

barthorpe bushcraft says:

I have a spare yolk for the rocket pouches if you want it Paul.
I’m just down the road from you at newark.
