Sorry for the background noise!! Review of the aegismax down sleeping bag and an overview of the 2lb ultralight budget setup that i use for summer backpacking that consists of an added down throw from Costco. hope this helps somebody decide on buying this great budget bag! Thanks for watching!

Great idea adding the two together? Thanks for sharing.
It would be interesting to see how warm you’ll be when you reverse the order of the two bags – so get into the Aegismax and put the quilt over that with the opening facing down. The theory being that the down you lay doesn’t do much anyway, I suspect you’ll be warmer. If you toss and turn then it may not be the best option, though. Thanx for the review.
can you please step on the sleeping bag so i can see how puffy it is
Thanks for posting this interesting two layer approach.
Any chance of adding web links for the two items you bought, especially the Aegismax bag (as there appears to be a load of variations available). Thanks.
great review! had a lot of nice details
Great review, very well thought out.
Good job!
Nice Review, but a bit of sound problems…
Good review. I have the Aegismax bag too. Been very happy with it so far. I like your approach with the Costco quilt, gives you a bit of flexibility with your sleep system. Nice one.
Brilliant. I had wondered about doing something similar to this with the Aegismax down bag and the Naturehike summer weight envelope sleeping bag
Great review! I was thinking of this exact system so your video is timely. Question: has your girl friend tried this setup? And if so would she rate it to 25 degrees? I’m a girl and I know we tend to sleep cold.
