Give it a wash in down wash too – makes a big difference. I washed my Aegismax M2 bag – made a big difference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY_0gBO7pzo&
I own that bag and several other Aegismax bags. That one is only good down to about 50F (10C). That assumes a sleep pad, long underwear and a tent, tarp or bivy to block the wind.
Thank you!!!!!
Most of them are made in China
ive got the same one but in bright green
Having an easy working zipper is key!
“There is no hood on this sleeping bag because… well, it’s a non-hooded one.” 😉
As a side sleeper I much prefer either non-hooded sleeping bags or (wide) quilts, as they allow me to turn around freely without having the fabric of the hood in my face and thus breathing into it, making it wet and lose it’s loft. For mild climates, the combination of a non-hooded bag + separate hoodie is more practical and efficient anyway (in terms of warmth vs weight ratio).
Can’t wait to see what the field test verdict will be!
Thank you
