What’s the best already compiled survival kit out there please? One that preferably includes a stove etc, i saw one with maxpedition bag 500 pounds sterling…?
I wouldn’t waste my money on this kit or the basic one either, it’s overpriced. For $40 or more it should at least have a compass and a better light or some mini chem lights, not to mention a whirlpack water bag and some purification tablets. I bought a Limitless Mark 1 Survival Kit off of Amazon for $20. All that I added was a Boker lil Friend Arrow Head knife to replace the scapel and a P-51 can opener and it is a far better kit. One thing I do like about the kit, is that it has two ways to make fire, and the survival blanket is a plus. ESEE, come on, they are more overpriced than Gerber, you would spend $30-35 on the altoids tin kit they have
I don’t understand why they put screwdrivers and bottle openers on the multi tool
This is the 2nd Gerber Bear Grylls Survival kit I have checked out that does not address water purification. What am I missing ??? How is water supposed to be purified with this kit ??? or ANY Bear Grylls kit ?? Are we suppose to assume that we will be rescued before any harmful entity enters our body through water that we come across. Are we suppose to use the survival blanket to make a solar still or use our own clothes to sap up dew in the morning why not have some water purification tablets in the bag or charge more for the kit and have a life straw included or maybe have bags that could maybe use the sodis method I don’t even know if clear bags will work with Sodis I assume they will since water bottles do. The intro seems to indicate your biggest problem is that you will have so much water around you that it may get something wet in the bag this has not been my experience when I’m outside. Then there is no poncho is there a stupid emergency cheap poncho would actually be welcomed I think for maintaining a little warm and cover you could at least what trap some rainwater with it but there is no poncho with this kit right … I don’t have time to sit through this whole video sorry .
dear david may i suggest that you reveiw the Navigator South survival kit? it may be on ebay or other web stores.
So he is pretty much saying the pack isnt good
has ultimate survival channel doesn’t know how go use wire saw
This lit needs the mini paraframe knige
can I use a survival blanket for a solar still?
Scout Essentials Kit=Compass
Ultimate Survival Kit= No Compass
All mini survival kits are fantasy toys. The scenarios people use to justify them are ridiculous. Btw, a silver survival blanket reflects up to 90% of radiant heat, and only about 10% of the heat you lose from your body is radiant. So you still lose over 90% of your body heat through one of those.
I’ll buy this invade a clown is chasing me I’ll throw a knife and I’m a winner pretty smart
Ok ur intro makes it seem like we’re all gonna die
a)2 whistles? b)why are all multi tools so overrated? c)1 battery ain’t gon’ cut it fool!!!
garbage….
why have two whistle
you could give it to me?
replace the flashlight
i would just take the bag and every gerber tool as my pack and and the ultimate survival kit as a backup
the basic one is way cheaper has all the necessities plus a knife for 15$
I guess if u know nothing about survival and as a basic kit it’s fine
half way into the video you said the bear grills priority’s of survival is the most useful piece of kit in this pack lol.
the saw bound up because of the weight of the tree pressing against the saw you should have cut it in the other direction
All the stuff in that kit does not cost more than $10.
1 star from me
And STILL no compass! If a small, basic, survival kit doesn’t cover at the very least, fire-making, shelter, and signaling/navigation; then it’s a failure. Admittedly, this one does come close. But without a compass to use for navigation, you’re stuck waiting for rescue instead of walking out and helping to rescue yourself.
you did the saw rong
It’s about amount reflection of heat in emergency blanket rather than thickness of blanket
The spinner things are swivels used in fishing to stop your line from tangling
It not a hand saw its a wire saw mate ⚜⚜
yeah joes right
Appreciate Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you researched – Tiyulian Riyadelyn Takeover (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome exclusive product for surviving in a world crisis minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my best friend Jordan after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.
i would buy a small first aid kit and then add it alongside the Survival kit. not as part of it.
No.
Its Simple But I Like It…
I never ever used one of those saws and I know how to use it properly
so cool
Give 100%
The only thing that I want out of this kit is the rip stock nylon bag
This survival kit is garbage. Your better off getting one from Best Glide ASE. You get more stuff
in what way is there 30 pices??
i have this kit and it is great!
i agree
There is no gap on mine
Why are you shilling for ESEE products? They seem way overpriced.
why have two whistles that’s wasting space
I got one of these, and tried using the ferro rod, and within a few strikes, the rod came out of the handle.
I can’t believe they’re charging $35 for this. Are there any videos where someone has actually field tested this product?
The only things I would keep are the ferro rod, dental floss, needles and fishing gear. I’d add a head lamp, compass, Storm whistle, Bic lighter and 550 paracord. As much as I would like pliers, I’d dump the multtool for a good Victorinox Swiss Army knife providing it had the saw, auger and can opener.
Are you from the army
