Alps Mountaineering Lynx 1 Tent Review

I do a quick review of this great one person tent. As I mention in the video, the only con I can see with this tent is the over all weight…however if you were to leave behind the fly that would shave off a pound or so. I used this tent on a trip into the Grand Canyon and had to deal with high, gusting winds the entire trip and this tent pulled it off without damage. For all you solo backpackers looking for a solid three season one person tent, this one is for you.
I’ve included a link for this great tent:

How tall are you please?

Love this tent. I have taken it on 10 plus trips and there is no sign of wear. Bombproof. Worth the extra weight to me. Do recommend you get the footprint too. Grommets to the poles and you can lift the whole thing and move it with one hand if needed. Great review.

Going to get this tent. Might be able to get the weight down to 3lbs by not taking the stakes/bag

Great review, Brother! I liked it that you took the time to pitch and strike the tent. I have this tent on “save for later” at Amazon and your review really helped me make the decision to buy it. I placed the tent on hold yesterday ant the price went up $13 to $84.99. Thank you for your video!
