Coleman 4 Person Tent Review

Please watch: “Epic Lingcod Fishing in Monterey with Native Anglers and Ish with Fish” –~–
Take a look at this Coleman Pine River II 9×7 4 person Tent. I used this tent in a recent camping trip in Washington State. While I wasn’t amazed, I do think that this tent is actually a good value for new campers.

The tent is not truly a 4 person tent. It will sleep 2 adults comfortably though. At about $70-80 this tent would do just fine for summer camping trips. If you liked the review please like and subscribe!

I have been looking at tent’s for the past two day’s, I live in Tennessee and am right at the western edge of the Appalachian Mountains, I just recently started hiking in and out with me dog on a regular bases, and as you probably know when hiking day trips you can only make it in so far before you have to turn around and come back, So I would like to start taking longer trips in. (The forest is called, “The Cherokee National Forest” Anyway to the point, I’m going tomorrow to buy a Ozark Trail 4-Person Tent and the reviews are decent, I’m just curios as if it will stand up to deep forest camping, its $40 so I think it might be worth it. Any thoughts?

I had this tent for 11 years when the finally zipper gave out last year, I felt it was fitting to burn it in the fire. Super good tent, fast and easy to set up. 5/5

Aria Barone says:

I just found this tent at Target for $40, I will be using it next month in the valley area of California (hot and dry). This is my first tent, and I have never set one up before but for the ground tarp, I assume you secure it to the ground, what do you use?

Dave B says:

Thanks guys.  Just got this from Dicks. The store… not the body part.

gigi BRUIN says:

Does anyone make a tent that doesn’t have mesh material on the two sides that do not have a door and window?

Ashley Scofield says:

Thanks for the review. Would you say it would fit a double-high queen bed?

Having put up several of this style tent and they are a pisser when they come apart. I saved a lot of time by taping the poles together. Saved me about minutes in assembling time when I did it my self. .

I have a similar model the Flatwoods II, I find it to be a good value the first season I was able to use it with my son on a cub scout overnite. It went well so well in fact my son wanted to use it in the backyard. We’ve slept as many as 4 avg 8yr olds and myself 5’11 230lbs. This year’s cub scout overnite we found the shock cords in two of the tent poles broke. We were still able to set up the tent but instead of 5 minutes it took 2x that. We had a deluge of water and we remained water free except for the air mattress which touched the side of the tent and seemed to wick water thru but only in small amounts.

Nickole von Weckmann says:

I just bought Coleman Flatwoods II tent same size as this one. First tent, it’ll be only me with a queen size airbed. It says it will fit a queen. what do you think?

Fattie says:

Should of had your Kodiak 10X14 Chris?

DozR says:

my son has this tent and has used it every weekend for the last 3 summers .. its holding up good! and its a dry stay!

ermeds12 says:

Chris, will a fully inflated queen airbed fit in the door opening? i have a queen airbed that have a built in motor and pump, thinking of inflating the airbed using the 12v port from my car then bring them inside the tent. Thank you!

TheRaineyPack says:

We have had this tent for 4 years, we have used it once for a 4 night trip lol. me, my husband and our lab. we used it with 1 queen air mattress, a dog bed and a good bit of luggage. It poured pretty hard one night. I don’t remember having an issue.
we are going on two weekend trips this summer. Took it out today to set it up and make sure it was in good shape. Still good as new! I think it’s awesome for the price and a pretty quick set up
