love the vid, half a minute of intro is a bit too long though.

bute123 says:

pre heat the thing,  let the boiled water sit in it for 10 mins empty it, then refill with your soup coffee ect will give you 10+ hrs piping hot

Osman Chavez says:

Would this be good if I had chicken breast and rice. Where I work I don’t have a place to warm up my chicken. I’m at a job site so I was wondering if this would do the job keeping my chicken warm till lunch. Or is this only for liquid

You never said what the outside temp was… plus you opened it up a couple of times… not a very good test…

Elmert Hernandez says:

What are you using to boil the water?

Willy's Adventures says:

cool test i have found out over time that if you put boiling hot water in the thermos first
and let it set for 4-5 min to preheat the thermos pour the water out and then put your hot soup or drink in it will last a lot longer my be a test you could try thanks for sharing

Yankee says:

I picked up a mint vintage Thermos like my dad used to use everyday for work and on a hunt a few months ago, it saved my butt. The temps dropped 10 deg from the supposed 35 deg high we were expecting and it never really got above the low 30’s and I was on the shady side of the mountain all day with moderate winds.

My mistake? I was only out there with a USGI poncho and a fleece hoodie because we were expecting temps to be closing in on the 50 deg mark. Every other day up until that day was in the high 40’s, low 50’s. And I couldn’t make myself a fire because I was (wait for it) on a bear hunt.

Lesson learned and from now on, I’ll always pack a piping hot Thermos of coffee and food. Thanks for the review.

Maureen Clarke says:

If you could do a test with soup or stew that would be appreciated. Thanks.
