Do these shoes run small? Ive only ever had one pair of merrell in the past and found that they run big. These FST on the other hand seem to run smaller (from reviews ive read)

The leather FSTS are quite breathable. And waterproof but not as much as the gortex. I actually compare these to gortex combat boots. While the FST leather is waterproof not so much as combat boots with gortex. They offer gortex. But the leather is breathable.

I owned a pair of New Balance previously and they were great shoes wore them over a year. But the heels break down leaving that foam like interior exposed on every side.

The leather fsts dont do that and have leather not any type of foam. I submerged them on with water and there was a little wet by the toe but other than that my feet stay dry.
