Vibram FiveFingers Trek Ascent Insulated Review (Minimalist Shoes)

Hello and welcome to Alive Road!

In this video I will show you a very interesting minimalist shoes model from Vibram FiveFingers line – Trek Ascent Insulated.

This footwear is great for anyone who wants to get close to nature and introduce themselves to barefoot walking or running.

Trek Ascent Insulated are shoes for the colder part of the year as they are equipped with wool lining to provide better protection from cold.

They are very comfortable and provide excellent grip, perfect for those who look for outdoor challenges.

If you are interested in my first impressions about Vibram FiveFingers right after I tried them for the first time, here is my very first video about them:

Hope you enjoy!

Psoriasis Buddy says:

It seems such a large oversight to not make them waterproof. I would snap them up if they were. I’m wondering if adding waterproofing treatment might suffice, say the candle wax method?

none of your business says:

Why do you walk with a heel strike

Adrian Davies says:

Are these videos recorded in Malta? My suspicion is yes but I’m not 100% sure.

fred farmer says:

Here’s why I don’t like them: 1) Toe spring?? Why did Vibram build toe spring into a barefoot shoe? Hate that! They’re stiff enough that I feel like I’m fighting the shoes, and my feet get tired from wearing them after an hour, unlike my kso evos which I can wear all day 2) I don’t need or want built in arch support either, 3) Too much toe splay for me – actually forces my 2nd toe closer to mid line, which is not where I want it – because that’s the only way all your toes can fit.

Jerald James Capao says:

This will be a great trekking shoes on summer. I ordered the V-Run one

zon3ful says:

I wouldn’t this shoes, more like gloves for the feet.

Sdicdcsxz says:

They need a anti-water model.

santolify says:

From what I’ve read Vibram has adjusted the charts for sizes. I just ordered my first pair and I’d hate to have to exchange for a different size.

geva90 says:

I live on the desert in israel… you think they would be ok?
Im affreid to buy them online and later discover they are too warm for my feet
